Is the Royal Hawaiian still closed for contstruction? Is Kalakaua Avenue messy, due to construction work? Answer 1 of 8: Can anyone comment about the contruction project at Beachwalk behind the Halekulani? I am not sure if the whole area is torn up or not. For a June 2006 stay, should we avoid that area? Many thanks for your input.
